Maynard Crossing, a mixed-use development anchored by a soon-to-open Market Basket grocery store, is adding more tenants despite a recession and ongoing economic uncertainty.
The development on Parker Street in Maynard has announced Emerson Urgent Care, an outpost of Concord's Emerson Hospital, has signed on for 5,000 square feet adjacent to the plaza's entrance. Other new tenants include Eco Nails & Spa and Creative Gardens Early Education Center.
Those three new tenants are slated to open late this year, according to developer Capital Group Properties of Southborough. Emerson Urgent Care will include a walk-in care for immediate medical needs, as well as on-site diagnostic tests, including X-Ray and lab work.
They will join Market Basket, 110 Grill, Middlesex Savings Bank, Evviva Trattoria, Planet Fitness and others. Maynard Crossing, a former Digital Equipment Corp. office site, also includes The Vue at Maynard Crossing, a 180-unit apartment complex developed by LeCesse Development of Florida, and Camellia Gardens, the 143-unit senior independent living community developed by Hawthorn Retirement Group of Washington.
