UCHealth Peakview Medical Center in Greeley can now provide urgent care in its newly renovated wing.
The Peakview Medical Center, 5881 W. 16th St., houses the UCHealth women’s care and pediatric care clinic. This addition will provide non-emergent care and laboratory services, according to a news release.
“We are excited to be able to provide our patients with increased services at this location, to include an improved urgent care experience,” UCHealth Vice President of Urgent Care and Employer Solutions Lori Japp said in the release. “This is an ideal pairing of services to serve as a convenient one-stop shop for our patients.”
The office has provided outpatient primary and specialty care for roughly two decades, UCHealth reports.
Dr. Brent Grauerholz said in the announcement that the new location helps continue UCHealth’s “legacy of compassionate and personalized care.”
Having the urgent care center also gives providers an opportunity to collaborate with the other providers at the location. Grauerholz previously served at the former Greeley Medical Center office at 1900 16th St.
“While the location will change, the friendly faces our patients have come to know and trust will remain the same,” Grauerholz said. “We’ll still have the local feel, and we are looking forward to providing as good or even better care than we have ever provided before.”
Urgent care serves residents with colds, cuts, fractures, headaches, stomach aches, minor infections and other injuries or illnesses. These are often not treatable at home but do not rise to the level of emergency services. The clinic will also have X-ray services.
Appointments are not required for urgent care, but patients can reserve a spot in line. The clinic will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day. Laboratory services are provided from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
