Green Mountain Power announced that its crews need to take an unplanned outage to make emergency repairs to damaged equipment in Dummerston today. Their work will start around 6 p.m. and they expect to wrap up by 9 p.m. About 1,200 customers in Dummerston, Newfane, Marlboro, Brookline and Brattleboro will be affected.
This emergency work will prevent more damage and the potential for an even longer outage in the future.
