EAST ORANGE, NJ — Urgent Care Walk-in Suite, (UCS) a neighborhood health care provider, is open as of May 4th. The purpose of the facility is to help alleviate emergency room wait times. Many people from East Orange and the surrounding areas travel to the Staples shopping plaza in Bloomfield for urgent care. Now residents can go to 200 Freeway Drive in Suite 305, East Orange, New Jersey 07018. The opening of this facility adds another essential healthcare resource for residents in East Orange and throughout Essex County.
UCS will serve adults and children of all ages, and will treat injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care, but not critically patients needing an Emergency Room visit. The facility is open daily 10:00 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
