Felony arrests

Assault — Maya Victoria McWillie, 21, of the 500 block of Pine Street, Rogue River. Rogue River police arrested McWillie Thursday on felony charges of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon and on a misdemeanor charge of menacing. She was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $100,000 bail.

Assault — Kevin William Schrouder, 36, of Cottage Grove. Medford police arrested Schrouder Thursday on felony charges of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and coercion. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Rape — Thomas Grant Cox, 58, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cox Friday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse. He was booked in the jail Friday.

Theft — Timothy Orlin Curtis, 25, no known address. On Friday, Curtis made an appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree theft and misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — William Lee Gray, 37, of the first block of North Orange Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Gray Friday on a felony charge of possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine, misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of unlawful use of a weapon, possessing meth, cocaine and MDMA, driving under the influence of intoxicants, menacing, and resisting arrest, harassment and providing false information to police. He was held in jail Friday on $67,500 bail.
