KING COUNTY, Wash. — A jet operated by the Federal Aviation Administration made an emergency landing at Sea-Tac Airport on Friday evening after the pilot declared an emergency due to a hydraulic problem.
The Learjet circled in the air for about two hours to burn fuel.
The Port of Seattle sent fire trucks to assess the situation.
There were three people on board, and no one was hurt.
The plane was towed to the west side of the airport, where small aircraft are normally parked.
The plane is one of several operated by the FAA to verify the accuracy of navigation aids.
The FAA will investigate.
