Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care added two new locations, expanding its Manhattan footprint and increasing its number of facilities in the greater New York region to 54.
The organization opened two new locations – at 175 East 96th Street on the Upper East Side, and 2689 Broadway, at West 103 Street on the Upper West Side.
“Ensuring healthy communities starts with seamless access to high-quality care where and when people need it most,” Todd Latz, GoHealth Urgent Care CEO, said in a statement.
“We are proud to care for New Yorkers through 54 conveniently located centers across the region,” he added. “We look forward to further expanding our personalized, on-demand care platform in Manhattan with the opening of our new Upper East Side and Upper West Side centers, serving as these two vibrant communities’ connection to the clinical excellence of Northwell Health.”
“Adding these two new Manhattan locations to Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care’s already strong network further emphasizes our long-term commitment to provide convenient care to New Yorkers,” Adam Boll, senior vice president of strategic business initiatives at Northwell Health, said in a statement.
“Access to efficient and high-quality healthcare is why urgent care is a top priority wherever you live, and we are excited to bring care that is integrated with New York’s largest health system to these neighborhoods,” Boll said.
The organization treats non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, provide on-site X-ray services and offer COVID-19 evaluation and rapid testing. The newly opened centers were previously Cure Urgent Care centers.
Details of the purchase were not disclosed.
The new centers will be updated to reflect Northwell Health-GoHealth’s design, digital customer access tools and other technology-driven care capabilities.
