FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Police say they are investigating a crash after a driver ran a red light while having a medical emergency.
Police say the driver of a Nissan was headed westbound on East State Boulevard as an Allen County Sheriff’s Deputy was traveling northbound on Spy Run in a marked car.

The deputy and a passenger in the Nissan were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The condition of the driver who had a medical event is not clear at this time.
This is a developing report. Stay tuned for updates.
