Mayor Lovely Warren is declaring a state of emergency and a curfew for the City of Rochester.
The curfew takes effect at 9 p.m. on Saturday. This is in response to the ongoing uprising in downtown Rochester, as many join to protest against police brutality nation and worldwide.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello has also declared a state of emergency and a 9 p.m. curfew for his county.
