MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Clinic Stevens Point Center Urgent Care and Wisconsin Rapids Center Walk-In departments are reopening on June 15.
Both departments will be open 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
This reopening is part of a phased approach at Marshfield Clinic Health System to safely balance the expansion of services while assuring a continually safe environment for patients, visitors, providers, and staff.
“Our Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids Centers remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic and we are now looking forward to providing urgent care and walk-in services again for our patients in these locations,” said Jenny Hafermann, operations manager for Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point centers. “We are being cautious to ensure the highest level of safety for our patients and staff. After all, this is about how we care for and respect each other through enhanced safety protocols. Patients will notice some changes when they come in for the first time, and I hope they’ll see and feel that everything we do is designed to ensure their safety and that of our teams.”
Patients will notice new safeguards to help limit exposure risk, including: patient and employee screening at all designated entrances; masking requirements for employees, patients, and visitors; social distancing measures in waiting rooms; patient rooming as quickly as possible; and frequent cleaning of all areas including enhanced cleaning for high traffic/high touch areas.
