Anchorage Acting Mayor Austin Quinn-Davidson is expected to announce a new COVID-19 emergency order in a briefing via Facebook at noon on Wednesday.
Joining her, according to the mayor’s office, will be Col. Kirsten Aguilar, Installation Commander, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson; Heather Harris, director, Anchorage Health Department (AHD); Tom Hennessy, MD, MPH, medical doctor and infectious disease epidemiologist, University of Alaska-Anchorage (UAA) College of Health; Robert Onders, MD, JD, MPA, interim administrator, Alaska Native Medical Center; Megan Clancy, MD, infectious disease specialist; Kevin Berry, PhD, Assistant Professor of Economics, UAA; Ryan Webb, MD, hospitalist, The Alaska Hospitalist Group (TAHG); Lior Dolgonos, MD, intensivist, TAHG; Janet Johnston, PhD, epidemiologist, AHD; Kate Vogel, municipal attorney; Chris Schutte, director, Office of Economic and Community Development.
