Police in Tilden Township have changed a Hamburg woman for coughing on a nurse while at St. Luke’s Urgent Care Center in the Township.

According to Police, on November 20, 2020, at around 8:05am, Jessica L. Saul, entered the St. Luke’s Urgent Care and advised an employee at the registration window of her symptoms, possibly related to COVID-19.

Following their protocol, an employee advised Saul that she needed to go back outside and wait in her vehicle. They would then call her to come back in when they had a room ready for her.

Police say Saul began to argue with the employee and refused to go outside.

The victim, a registered nurse, employed with St. Luke’s Urgent Care, heard the argument and came out into the lobby.

She explained to Saul the procedures for patients with COVID-19 symptoms but Saul continued to argue. She demanded that she be allowed to wait in the general waiting area.

Saul then moved her face within inches of the victim’s face, and then removed her mask and deliberately coughed in the victim’s face causing saliva to go into the nurses eyes. Saul then stated “Take that” and then exited the building.

A criminal complaint and affidavit was prepared against Saul for charges of Reckless Endangering Another Person, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct.
