Washington, D.C. — On the heels of a sweeping day one bill and executive orders on immigration, and as the Biden-Harris administration charges forward to end the pandemic and repair its economic harm, experts and advocates urge Congress to use all legislative tools—including reconciliation, which only requires a simple majority—to include permanent protections and a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants as part of a coronavirus and economic recovery plan.
