TOWN OF KORTRIGHT (WBNG) -- Authorities in Delaware county say one person died following a crash Wednesday.
The Delaware County Sheriff's Office says 67-year-old John P. Mason of Stamford, N.Y. died from a cardiac emergency while he was driving on Braehead Road in the town of Kortright around noon.
They say the initial report was called in as a vehicle off the road way.
The sheriff's office says emergency medical crews attempted to save Mason. A LifeNet medi-vac helicopter was called to the scene.
The Bloomville Fire Department and AMR Ambulance also responded.
