LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) - Emergency crews responded to a serious injury accident Saturday night around 8:30 p.m.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene to find a vehicle driven by Korina Weems, 17, of Anamosa.
Weems was traveling eastbound on Sawyer Rd. when she lost control of her vehicle and went into the ditch where the vehicle rolled.
Weems was transported to a local hospital by Anamosa Ambulance for what is believed to be serious injuries. Weems was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Linn County Deputies, Linn County Rescue, Prairieburg Fire, Coggon Fire, Anamosa Ambulance and LifeGuard Air Ambulance responded to the accident.
