Four MedExpress locations are closing for good on Thursday
Four towns in Nebraska are losing urgent care centers that have been COVID-19 testing sites.
MedExpress tells News Channel Nebraska that it is closing down four of its locations in Nebraska: Fremont, Grand Island, La Vista, and Norfolk.
The last day the urgent care center will be seeing patients is Thursday. After that, the four sites are closing their doors for good.
Company officials tell NCN that they will be keeping six sites open in Nebraska, and that patients will be getting information on how to access their medical records.
MedExpress had recently expanded in Nebraska. The Norfolk location had just opened in March of 2018.
The closing locations are also testing sites for COVID-19. It is unclear whether or not those testing sites will be replaced in the four cities affected.
