FARMINGTON, N.Y. — Effective Saturday, Sept. 25, the Farmington Urgent Care will be temporarily closed due to staffing issues, UR Medicine Thompson Health announced Monday.
Officials say the temporary closure of the Corporate Drive location will allow for the consolidation and redeployment staff across its health system.
Thompson Health says hours for the Farmington location will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through this coming Friday.
Residents are being encouraged to visit Thompson’s other two urgent care locations; Canandaigua Urgent Care at 699 S. Main St. and Newark Urgent Care at 800 W. Miller St., which will remain open.
Thompson Health says the other services offered at the Corporate Drive location will all remain open. This includes the Farmington Pediatrics office, the Farmington OB/GYN site, Farmington Rehabilitation Services and the occupational medicine program, HealthWorks.
